How you can apply for a postal vote
You can do thisonline from May 31 to June 23.
- In writing: From May 31 to June 23 using the form on the back of the voting notification. You will then receive the voting documents by post.
- By fax: From May 31 to June 23 using the form on the back of the voting notification. Please send the request to 09131 / 86 -3355 and you will then receive the voting documents by post.
- In person: From June 2 to June 27, 3:00 pm, at the town hall, Rathausplatz 1, 1st floor, small meeting room. Opening hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.; Wednesdays and Fridays from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.
- without form: The application can also be made without a form in writing, electronically or in person/orally (not by telephone). Please state your first name, surname, date of birth and home address (street, house number, zip code, town). Please also state the citizens' register number printed on the right-hand side of the voting notification.
Deadline for submitting applications: June 27, 3:00 p.m.
Voting applications will only be accepted until June 27, 2025, 3 p.m. In the event of proven sudden illness, this is also possible until 3 p.m. on the day of the vote (June 29).
Anyone applying for or collecting a voting slip on behalf of another person must present a written power of attorney from the person entitled to vote. If you have applied for postal voting documents but have not yet received them, you can report this by June 28, 2025, 12.00 noon at the latest. In such cases, please contact the electoral office immediately.
Deadline for submitting the voting letter: June 29, 6:00 pm
The voting letter must be received by the City of Erlangen by June 29, 2025, 6:00 pm. Please bring it to the post office in good time when sending it by post. It is also possible to hand it in by June 29, 2025, 6 p.m.
- in person at the Bürgeramt, Rathausplatz 1, 91052 Erlangen
- by dropping it in the letterbox at the entrance to the town hall.
