Limited bus service on Saturday
Stand: 19.11.2024
Due to a works meeting and important company training measures, public transport services will be somewhat restricted on Saturday, November 23.
The Erlangen public utility company has announced that the city bus service will be switched to a timetable with a reduced frequency on this day. The Erlangen lines will only run every hour.
This also affects CityLinie 299, which runs within the free inner city area, where a midibus operated by a private transport company will make its rounds every hour: first via Zollhaus in the direction of the university hospitals, then through the old town via Martin-Luther-Platz, starting and finishing at platform 1 of the bus station. The destination display of the bus indicates the corresponding direction.
The relevant timetables can be found at www.estw.de/aktuelles-umleitungen. Passengers can also obtain detailed information on all Erlangen routes and the connections on November 23 via the real-time information at www.vgn.de. The digital displays and customer terminals in the city area as well as the electronic timetable displays at Hugenottenplatz also show real-time information on the journeys from the respective stop. The timetables displayed at the stops will not be changed.
All NightLiners and line 298 will run unchanged on this day; the normal timetable applies here.www.vgn.de
