Weeks against Racism 2025
Stand: 06.03.2025
From March 9 to 26, there will again be various events.
"Open by tradition" has been the motto of our city for over five decades. Even if this motto has not always described reality, neither in the past nor in the present, it does describe our aspirations as a city society.
Lord Mayor Florian Janik: "The world is currently undergoing a profound upheaval and so is the political culture in our country. The boundaries of what can be said are being pushed, xenophobia, prejudice and racism are on the rise. It is therefore more important than ever to take a stand, become active, listen, learn and discuss. This is exactly what the Weeks against Racism 2025 invite us to do. This year, we can look forward to numerous events that educate, raise awareness and encourage reflection."
