Bei der Entwicklung und Umsetzung des Konzepts für das Bergkirchweihgelände gilt es grundsätzlich zu klären, welche Anforderungen die Bergkirchweih selbst an das Gelände stellt und wie die daraus resultierenden Maßnahmen mit den Bedürfnissen von Anwohner*innen, Bäumen etc. in Einklang gebracht werden können. Hierbei soll auch eine nachhaltige und ganzjährige Nutzung des Geländes mitgedacht werden..

Sanierung und Ausbau des Stadtmuseums

Der Stadtrat hat beschlossen, nach der Fertigstellung des Kultur- und Bildungscampus KuBiC Frankenhof, als nächstes schwerpunktmäßig den Ausbau des Stadtmuseums anzugehen. Durch eine Erweiterung wird der erhöhte Platzbedarf eines zeitgemäßen Stadtmuseums mit größeren Sonderausstellungsflächen, eigenen Veranstaltungsräumen und einer erweiterten Fläche für die stadtgeschichtliche Dauerausstellung ermöglicht. Ziel ist, das Stadtmuseum dem Standard von Museen in vergleichbaren Städten anzupassen.

IT-Konzept für Erlanger Schulen "smartERschool"

Das Schulverwaltungsamt entwickelt seit 2018 in Zusammenarbeit mit weiteren Fachstellen das neue IT-Konzept „smartERschool“ und koordiniert dabei die Maßnahmen für die Bereitstellung einer bedarfsgerechten digitalen Infrastruktur in den Erlanger Schulen. Das Programm wurde bis 2024 fortgeschrieben.
