3. Purposes and legal basis of the processing of personal data
The purpose of the data collection is the implementation of a lawful applicant management with the aim of establishing employment relationships in order to fill vacant positions.
Legal basis for the data processing are Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter b or c of the Basic Data Protection Regulation - DSGVO - in conjunction with Art. 145 para. 2 and Art. 103 of the Bavarian Civil Service Act - BayBG - and Art. 8 para. 1 No. 2 of the Bavarian Data Protection Act

When applying for a training position, an aptitude test may be conducted. This aptitude test can only be taken once within a six-month period. The respective test result therefore also applies to the application to the City of Erlangen. In connection with the application for a training position, test results may therefore also be requested from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Personalwesen e. V. - dgp - which conducts these tests for the City of Erlangen, other administrations and companies.
4. Recipients of personal data
In the course of the application process, your personal data will be transmitted within the City of Erlangen to offices and persons involved in the selection process, such as, in particular, the personnel administration, the responsible departments as well as the personnel representative, the representative for severely disabled persons, the overall youth and trainee representative and the equal opportunity representative. In selected cases, job interviews are moderated and accompanied externally. In these cases, your personal data will be made available to the respective cooperation partner of the City of Erlangen.
When applying for a training position, the name, date of birth and training direction are passed on to dgp, which carries out the corresponding aptitude tests on behalf of the city of Erlangen, when an aptitude test is carried out.
Your personal data are processed and stored electronically in the course of the application procedure. The technical operation is carried out by the company Interamt - Stellenportal für den öffentlichen Dienst, Deutsche Telekom, Friedrich-Ebert-Allee 1401, 53113 Bonn as an order processor.
There will be no transfer of your personal data to a third country.
5. Duration of storage of personal data
The City of Erlangen will store your personal data obtained within the application process for at least six months. In the event of an unsuccessful application or if the application is withdrawn, the data you submitted as part of the application will be destroyed after six months following notification of the rejection. Retention within the scope of these periods is necessary due to the average duration of proceedings and in the event of any legal actions, for example in the event of any assertion of claims under the General Equal Treatment Act or in the event of any applications for interim legal protection on legal grounds.
6. Data subject rights
