Those who believe they have contracted the Corona virus or are experiencing symptoms need to properly act. This means that since November 16, 2022, this includes a basic mask requirement outside of one's own home, as well as a ban on entering and activities in medical and nursing areas with vulnerable groups of people, as well as in certain shared accommodations. How do you avoid infections?
- Wear a mask
- Correct hand hygiene: regular, thorough hand washing under running water with soap for 20 to 30 seconds
- Keep unwashed hands away from face (esp. Keep mouth, nose and eyes) away
- Covering mouth and nose while coughing or sneezing, or in bent elbow
- Maintaining a minimum distance of 1.50 to 2 meters

Yes, traveling abroad is possible. Nevertheless, they may be associated with risks. The German Foreign Office provides information about traveling abroad and issues corresponding travel and safety advice. These are updated on an ongoing basis.
Since January 1, 2023, vaccination has been available through standard medical care, i.e., from the general practitioner or pharmacies. Why? The Bavarian vaccination centers ceased operation at the end of 2022. The Erlangen/Erlangen-Höchstadt vaccination center administered the last vaccinations on December 23, 2022, almost exactly two years after vaccination began in Germany.
