25th regulation for Kriegenbrunn / Frauenaurach after-school/kindergarten places
When revising the allocation guidelines for the after-school care center, will children who went to kindergarten in Kriegenbrunn because there were no more places available in Frauenaurach also be considered?
Answer from the Youth Welfare Office:
On 27.07.2023, the statutes for the municipal daycare facilities were re-issued by the city council and came into force on 18.08.2023. Among other things, the criteria for allocating places were newly regulated. Separate allocation statutes for the two municipal daycare facilities in Kriegenbrunn and Frauenaurach are not possible.
The facility in Frauenaurach, the municipal Löwenzahn children's house, is set up as a "house for children" due to its operating license from the government of Middle Franconia and its concept. This means that a child can be cared for in the children's home from crèche to school age. The Kinderhaus concept ensures that a child is well supported during the transition from one age group to the next.
In the last two years, fewer after-school children were deregistered from the Kinderhaus than there were new registrations. As a result, children who were not already attending kindergarten at the Kinderhaus could hardly be admitted to the after-school care center.
Places are allocated according to availability. Children from another facility, such as the Kinderhaus Kriegenbrunn, can be accepted if available.
