Over the years, we have noticed that more and more salt is being spread on footpaths and cycle paths. Is this amount of salt necessary?

Answer: The City Greenery, Waste Management and Street Cleaning Department:
We mix salt and granulate 1:4 as agreed (1 shovel of salt and 4 shovels of granulate).
As we mix the whole thing with the wheel loader, it can happen that one spreader contains a slightly saltier mixture. The small tractors use a very simple spreading technique, so we cannot dose the quantities so precisely.
We check our spread material again and try to ensure better mixing.
