At the City Youth Welfare Office’s daycare centers, we welcome volunteers to assist with housekeeping tasks and to support our educational work.
A daycare center is like a big family business with lots of children. Whether as a reading mentor in kindergarten, a homework mentor at an after-school care center, or a helper during snack time and lunch—there are many activities where the assistance of volunteers can be extremely valuable and beneficial to both the educators and the children. Likewise, meaningful work enriches the volunteers themselves.
We welcome parents, grandparents, and anyone else interested in volunteering at a daycare center.
If you’re interested in helping out at a daycare center, please contact the center’s director. There, you’ll receive all the necessary information about the requirements and how you can get involved.
