Tree Burials

• These are 2-person urn graves
• Fees: €182.00 per year
• The minimum interment period for urn burials is 10 years
• Urns and decorative urns must be made of biodegradable material
• Urn graves can only be purchased following a recent death; advance sales are not permitted
• Tree-side urn graves are maintenance-free; this means that the tree burial plot is maintained by the cemetery administration

The Central Cemetery features tree burial plots of various designs:

Group 41:

• Current burial plot
• Here, depending on the tree, boulders or flat stones must be placed on the purchased plot; the appropriate grave markers are provided upon purchase of the right of use
• Floral arrangements, planters, and grave lights may be placed within an area of 50 x 50 cm
• Removing or pruning existing plants, as well as planting your own plants or scattering pebbles and similar items, is not permitted

Group 19:

• Unassigned graves subject to availability
• A metal plaque bearing the names of the deceased may be affixed to a stele
• Natural tree burial plot
• Placing natural floral arrangements and mementos is permitted only at the name stele
• Plants, pebbles, candles, lanterns, etc., are not permitted on the grave site

Group 34:

• Individual graves subject to availability
• A bronze plaque in the shape of a leaf can be ordered through the cemetery administration
• Natural tree burial plot
• Natural floral arrangements may be placed at the designated spot near the horizontal tree trunk
• Plants, pebbles, candles, lanterns, etc., are not permitted on the grave site
