3. pigeon feeding ban

The pigeon problem in the Hugenottenplatz area is increasing and the animals are regularly fed, especially in the morning hours, despite the feeding ban. Citizens would like to see more intensive enforcement of the ban on feeding pigeons.

Statement from the Department of Public Safety and Order:
From 17.08.2023, we checked the locations at varying times in the morning (between 6:00 am and 8:30 am). However, only a few scattered seeds and nuts were found. In general, the days on which no feeding was found predominated.
Unfortunately, we were never able to find a perpetrator of this activity. Notices indicating the ban on pigeon feeding were also put up on site at short notice.
