Care requests

To make a childcare inquiry, you need to create a personal account and log in.

Use various filters to search for suitable childcare centers for you. Click on the "Create childcare request" button directly in the search results to access an online form. The fields marked with * must be filled in with the correct data. Then send the childcare request. The daycare center will then receive your data and will be informed that you are interested in a place.

Important to know:

If you check the box when completing the data entry that your data can be saved in the portal, this data will be available to you for further childcare inquiries. If you do not check this box, you will have to re-enter the data for each childcare request.

If the care provider needs to clarify your care request, they can contact you using the telephone number provided.

Yes, if there are other legal guardians for the child for whom you have sent a childcare request, they must be named.

Important to know: If you want to change the data at a later date, you can only do this via an institution to which you have submitted a childcare request.

You can withdraw your request by clicking on the "X" symbol. In this case, you must provide further information on the reasons.

The name, address and contact details of the parents and children cannot be changed by the parents. All changes, including changes to other childcare data (e.g. start of childcare, scope of childcare, etc.) or changes to e-mail addresses for notification are only possible via the respective facilities.

Currently, over 90% of daycare centers can be found in the Kitafinder. Childcare inquiries (registration) can be made via the Kitafinder for all municipal daycare centers and for most independent daycare centers. For a few daycare centers run by independent providers, childcare enquiries/registrations can only be made directly with the daycare center. This is then published in the profile of the facility in the Kitafinder. If you cannot find the Kita you are looking for in the Kitafinder, please contact the facility directly to find out about the registration procedure.
