Income-Based Financial Aid (EOF)
Stand: 06.08.2026
Income-based assistance is a supplementary benefit granted upon application to tenants of an EOF-subsidized apartment.
Before you can apply for EOF benefits, you must be assigned an EOF-subsidized apartment through the housing placement service. Only after being assigned such an apartment can you submit an EOF application. You will receive the required application form along with the lease agreement from your landlord.
Applications for renewal will be sent to you by the EOF office two months before your benefits expire.
Income-Based Assistance (EOF) is a supplementary benefit granted upon application to tenants of EOF-subsidized housing. Please note that not all socially subsidized housing units are also EOF-subsidized. You can contact us to find out whether your housing unit is one of these.
The EOF benefit is an income-based benefit. There are three income brackets. The amount of the EOF benefit depends on which income bracket you fall into. If your income exceeds the income limit for Bracket III, you are not eligible for the EOF benefit.
The competent authority will review your income situation and classify you into the appropriate income bracket.
