Extranet of the City of Erlangen - Terms of use

The extranet of the city of Erlangen (extranet) contains sensitive information. The level of confidentiality is therefore classified as "For official use only" (VS-NfD). Access is only granted to natural persons authorized by the Personnel and Organization Office.
We provide you with access to the extranet exclusively for your personal information. Do not distribute the content and do not make the content accessible to other persons in any other way.
Downloads and printouts of the content are only permitted for business use or in the context of your employment or service relationship. Do not store the content outside of protected environments and in particular not on unencrypted, mobile data carriers. Store any printouts securely and dispose of them in accordance with data protection regulations. The content is subject to German copyright law.
Never pass on your access data or write down your user name and password in analog or digital form. You are responsible for ensuring that your password remains confidential. Inform us immediately of any unauthorized use of your access account or any breach of security regulations of which you become aware. The general municipal password guidelines apply (at least 12 characters, at least 1 upper case letter, 1 lower case letter, 1 number, 1 special character). Loss or theft of data must be reported immediately.
For security reasons, no contributions can be created or commented on via the extranet (read-only).
We accept no liability for access to the extranet (availability) or the quality of access or the type of presentation. We also accept no responsibility for the loss or incomplete, delayed or improper transmission of data.
You use the extranet at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any damage, in particular damage to your computer system or loss of data caused by downloading data or using other services.
The contents of the extranet have been created with the utmost care. However, we assume no liability for the completeness, up-to-dateness, accuracy and correctness of the content. No legal claims can be established or derived from the provision of the content. We reserve the right to change or delete content in whole or in part at any time without prior notice. This shall not give rise to any warranty claims or claims for damages against us.
The extranet contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. Therefore, we cannot accept any liability for this external content. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. Illegal content was not recognizable at the time of linking. We cannot reasonably be expected to permanently monitor the content of the linked pages without concrete evidence of an infringement.
