How bike-friendly is Erlangen?

You can take part in the survey online at www.fkt.adfc.de until November 30. Cyclists from Erlangen are invited to rate, for example, the feeling of safety, the width of cycle paths and the accessibility of destinations by bike. This year's main topic is cooperation in traffic. The focus here is on how cyclists rate the behavior of other road users, for example whether they are considerate and whether sufficient overtaking distance is maintained. The results help the city of Erlangen to further improve services for cyclists.

Answering the 27 questions only takes around ten minutes. It is possible to sign up for a newsletter afterwards to be informed about the results. The most bicycle-friendly cities and municipalities in six size categories will be honored at the Federal Ministry of Transport in Berlin in spring 2025.

The survey is funded by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport Affairs (BMDV) from funds for the implementation of the National Cycling Plan (NRVP) and is supported by the German Association of Cities (DST) and the German Association of Towns and Municipalities (DStGB).
