Ceremony "60 years of town twinning between Erlangen and Rennes"

On February 8, 2024, the 60th anniversary of the town twinning between Erlangen and Rennes was celebrated with a ceremony. In four rounds of games, the visitors explored Franco-German relations, built friendship towers out of Lego together and considered what the future of the town twinning could look like.

There were particular surprises when it came to the question of what we would we miss if the Erlangen-Rennes town twinning had not existed and how the lives of those present would have been different. The presenters were amazed to learn that 18 children were born from the Franco-German relationship alone. David Saam and Res Richter from Boxgalopp provided the background music for the evening, with Tom Stapelfeld as a guest on drums.
