Immission control; aircraft noise

A take-off route for Nuremberg Airport runs over the A3 in the west of the city at an altitude of approx. 2,000 - 2,500 meters. This line is the center of a corridor that can extend approx. 4,000 m to the west or east. Aircraft taking off are required to deviate from this corridor as little as possible. According to Nuremberg Airport, all aircraft already fly over Erlangen at an altitude that should no longer cause any disruption on the ground. However, there are still repeated complaints about aircraft noise. The Environment, Transport and Planning Committee has dealt with this problem on several occasions.
