Dechsendorfer Weiher Recreation Area

The recreational area at Dechsendorfer Weiher offers a variety of leisure activities along the lakeside promenade. On the west shore, there is a swimming area with showers, restrooms, a kiosk, and a boat rental service.
On the east bank, near the second swimming area, there is a playground with a swing and play equipment for preschoolers. Further north along the shore, there are several permanent barbecue grills available for public use. No registration is required.
On the northeastern shore, not far from the calisthenics area and the barbecue area, there has been a beach volleyball court since July 2024. It has a total area of 22 by 14 meters, with the playing area measuring 16 by 8 meters. The range for adjusting the net height is relatively wide. This allows for multifunctional use for different categories (men’s, mixed, women’s) or even beach tennis.
