Dechsendorfer Weiher leisure facility

The local recreation area at Dechsendorfer Weiher offers various leisure activities along the lakeside promenade. On the west bank there is a bathing area with showers, sanitary facilities, a kiosk and boat hire.
There is a playground on the east bank near the second bathing area with a swing and play equipment for pre-school children. In the shore area further north, there are a number of permanently installed barbecues for free use. No registration is required.
On the north-eastern bank, not far from the calisthenics facility and the barbecue area, there has been a beach volleyball court since July 2024. It has a total area of 22 by 14 meters, the playing area is 16 by 8 meters. The net height adjustment range is relatively large. This allows multifunctional use for different classes (men's, mixed, women's) or beach tennis.
Circular path currently closed:
Due to the recent heavy branch breakage, considerable damage to several trees was found during an inspection at the Dechsendorfer Weiher.
