We are delighted that a young adult from San Carlos will be coming to Erlangen again this year to complete a Federal Voluntary Service here. Franco Camilo's place of assignment will be the Environmental Station Youth Farm and this time the voluntary service will take place as part of the weltwärts programme and will be organized by Ecoselva e.V. as the sponsor. However, as in previous years, we are also looking for a host family for the Nicaraguan volunteer. Attached you will find a letter from Franco Camilo in which he briefly introduces himself. Perhaps you could imagine hosting Franco Camilo from September 2026 to August 2027?
Ecoselva offers host families a maximum monthly allowance of €350 for board and lodging. We are looking for a host family for the entire year, but in principle it would also be possible to split the placement between two host families for 6 months each. Hello, dear family:
My name is Franco Camilo Chamorro Vallecillo, I am 23 years old and I have a degree in Marketing. I would be very happy to have the opportunity to become part of your family in Germany and experience a year together where we can spend time together, learn from each other and grow together. I am very interested in languages and cultures. I speak English and am just starting to learn German, which I am very excited about as I want to integrate as much as possible and enjoy every moment of this experience. I also really like culture and art, even though I still need to familiarize myself with it. I enjoy learning new things that will help me in my personal development and I am always open to learning new things. I am an active person and like sports, especially soccer. I also enjoy nature, outdoor walks and animals as they have always fascinated me. I consider myself someone who is open to trying new things, including food. I enjoy learning to prepare new dishes.
