The Nuremberg Water Management Authority (WWA) will be carrying out pruning work in the Schwabach valley in the near future. The work will take place from Sieglitzhofer Straße to the city border with the neighboring municipality of Buckenhof. The main aim is to remove dead wood and brittle branches, to ensure traffic safety and to cut back the resprouting willows. As the measure is taking place in a landscape conservation area, coordination took place with the municipal office for environmental protection and energy issues (lower nature conservation authority). The WWA is providing information about the necessary work on site with signs.
