In the midst of global challenges and the dynamics of Germany's migration policy, we need a return to faith and community, which strengthens cohesion in our city even in turbulent times.

The fates of refugees are in the context of ever-emerging wars and crises. The circumstances of the Israel-Palestine conflict have caused unspeakable suffering. We extend our sincere support and sympathy to their families.

Let us stand together to ensure that people fleeing war and persecution are welcomed and supported in our city. Your solidarity and humanity are the strongest tools to do so.

May Ramadan inspire us to continue building bridges of understanding and to live humanity in our daily actions.
