The municipal Löwenzahn children's house is an eight-group facility and offers childcare places for 24 crèche children, up to 60 kindergarten children and up to 75 after-school children. The children's house has a total of 3 integrative places.
The municipal Löwenzahn children's home is located in the Frauenaurach district of Erlangen, right next to the community center. The catchment area of the facility also includes the districts of Hüttendorf, Kriegenbrunn, Neuses and Schallershof and is located in the elementary school district of Frauenaurach elementary school.
The municipal Löwenzahn children's house has a partially open structure. This means that our children from the crèche, kindergarten and after-school care areas have the opportunity to come into contact with children of different ages through the cross-group use of our rooms and cross-group activities.
The Löwenzahn children's house has 7 group rooms and the following functional rooms:
- Homework room
- Flexi room
- Memory room (for sports/movement activities and events of all kinds)
- workroom
- studio
The most important goal of our educational work is to create a benevolent and appreciative atmosphere for children and parents. The success of our daily work depends on a trusting relationship both in the groups and with the parents.
