The Care and Social Insurance Division of the City of Erlangen’s Social Welfare Office is responsible for providing pension counseling, clarifying pension entitlements, and assisting with pension applications for individuals living in Erlangen. Insured individuals who do not live in Erlangen but work here may also use these services. The City of Erlangen is not responsible for individuals living in the surrounding district, such as in Bubenreuth, Möhrendorf, or Spardorf. Any information to the contrary found online is incorrect!

The German Pension Insurance pension advisor holds office hours twice a week at the City of Erlangen. These appointments are primarily intended for insured individuals who do not work or live in Erlangen.
An appointment is absolutely required for a consultation. You can schedule appointments on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. by calling + (49) 09131 / 86-3230. Please provide your Social Security number when making the appointment.
