Information on the new naturalization law

The main new feature is that multiple nationality is permitted. The waiting periods will also be reduced from 8 to 6 years and from 5 to 3 years in the case of special integration achievements. Easier language requirements apply for former guest workers. Children of foreign parents can receive a German passport at birth under certain conditions.
