We work with young people.

The BlackBox Youth Center in the Bruck neighborhood is part of the Open Youth Social Work (OJSA) program run by the Erlangen Youth Welfare Office. Our programs are tailored to the needs of young people in the neighborhood. They are actively involved in shaping our programs.

We are professional points of contact and advocates for the interests of young people, and we are bound by confidentiality.

Hours of Operation

Monday	Learning Support & Counseling* by appointment
Tuesday	Open House (ages 12 and up)	5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday	Boys’ Group & Counseling* by appointment	Upon request
Thursday	Open Girls’ Meetup (ages 10 and up)	3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Friday	Open Youth Group (ages 12 and up)	2:30–5:30 p.m.

* Counseling on all kinds of topics, accompaniment to appointments, referrals to other organizations, crisis management, cover letters...

Activities, projects, and field trips take place in addition to the listed opening hours. You can find the latest information posted on the front door.

Notes

Services may vary during school breaks and on holidays.

Unfortunately, the BlackBox cannot be rented for birthdays or other celebrations. Please refrain from making such requests. Thank you for your understanding.
