Together with teachers, parents, and many other volunteers, I support the children at our school, Brucker Lache Elementary School, in their development and assist everyone involved with any questions regarding the children. I do this through projects, one-on-one and parent meetings, and collaboration with other institutions—always with the goal of finding solutions together. I take great joy in accompanying the children on their exciting journey through elementary school, and I gladly embrace the challenges this work brings every day.

It is a pleasure for me to accompany the children on part of their journey.

I work as a youth social worker at Büchenbach Elementary School. Here, I have the privilege of supporting children as they navigate their elementary school years. On campus, I serve as a point of contact for students, their families, and teachers, and I help develop collaborative solutions. This is achieved through individual and parent meetings, a variety of classroom projects, and collaboration with other institutions. It is particularly important to me to view all children as part of a multifaceted and diverse society and to enable their participation through individualized support.

I work at the Max and Justine Elsner Elementary School in Erlangen-Bruck. Here, I have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, and I find the diversity to be a great source of enrichment!
In my work, I am deeply committed to listening carefully, truly understanding needs, strengthening abilities and other positive influences in the environment, offering encouragement, and actively supporting each child on their individual path.
To find effective solutions for the children, I work closely with parents, teachers, and other support staff. In addition to counseling and crisis intervention, I offer sessions on various social topics in classrooms and small groups.

I am the second youth social worker at Mönauschule for the 2025–2026 school year, and I assist my colleague Ulrike Rüth with concerns, questions, or problems unrelated to the school system.
Before I joined the Mönauschule, I worked at a study center in Bruck, so I’m familiar with addressing individual concerns and challenges.

I am a certified social pedagogue (FH) and work in the Youth Social Work division at schools for the Erlangen City Youth Welfare Office. I am based at the Mönau School. I find the highly varied work with students—which takes the form of projects, small-group work, and one-on-one conversations—to be very interesting and multifaceted.
I am happy to serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for children, parents, and teachers, with the goal of mediating between the different groups and finding a personalized, appropriate solution.

Dietmar Felten
I hold a degree in social pedagogy (FH) and work in youth social services at the Erlangen City Youth Welfare Office.
My focus is on guiding and supporting children in their everyday school life. When difficulties arise at school or at home, I work with the children, parents, and teachers to find solutions. In doing so, I collaborate with other social services and institutions in the neighborhood.
Project work on various topics is another essential part of my job. In addition to various classroom projects such as “Fair Fighting,” “Outdoor School,” and film projects, running the school’s internal YouTube channel is a key focus.
For the past three years, the long-term experiential education project “Pesta hoch 7” has proven to be an important component of my work at the elementary school.
