The four-group kindergarten "Haus der kleinen Strolche" offers 80 children aged 3 to 6 years holistic education, upbringing and care.
The facility is located in the Bruck district in the Am Anger residential area. It is easily accessible by public transport.
The kindergarten works according to a partially open concept. Each child has their own fixed group, but can also play and learn in other groups by arrangement. The children meet daily in the garden, at drop-off and pick-up times and during inter-group activities and projects.
Each group has a group room with different play areas. Two groups share a creative room with a small children's kitchen and a washroom. A gym with a materials room is available for the children to play movement games. The building has two floors, but the children are only on the ground floor.
Children from over 20 different nations attend our facility. The cultural diversity enables the children to experience cosmopolitanism and a welcoming culture and to develop an interest in foreign countries and languages. The focal points of our educational work include language education integrated into everyday life, inclusion and participation. We see our facility as a learning community in which we all - the children and the educational staff - continue to develop.
We have been awarded the Book Kindergarten seal of approval for our commitment to promoting reading in early childhood.
