About the facility

The AWO Kinderhaus Kleiner Stern is located in Röthelheimpark between the OBI, the Franconian International School and the CSU building / student residence.

The AWO Kinderhaus "Kleiner Stern" has seven crèche groups with extended morning places and full-day places and one kindergarten group.

The focus of our educational work is the child with all its needs, characteristics, abilities, interests, strengths and weaknesses. Each child is a sensitive personality with an individual life situation. We support them in developing self-confidence, building up their self-esteem and growing into an independent and responsible personality. In all our work with the child, we act according to the principles of Maria Montessori: "Help me to do it myself! Show me how to do it."

We have contingent places in the crèche for employees of the following companies

• University Hospital

Opening hours

Our nursery opening hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 17:00

Our kindergarten opening hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Our office opening hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
