Local elections: Deadlines for postal voting end

Due to the short remaining deadlines and postal delivery times, it is advisable to collect postal voting documents in person if possible. Votes can also be cast directly at the town hall.
Sunday, March 8, is the municipal election. This is when the Lord Mayor and the City Council will be elected. Voting is possible on election day from 8:00 to 18:00 at the polling station. The assigned polling station is indicated on the polling card. If you do not wish to go to the polling station on election day, you can vote by post. However, the deadlines for applying for postal voting end in the next few days:
- For written and online applications, it ends on Monday, March 2.
- Postal voting documents can be collected in person from the town hall (1st floor, small meeting room) until Friday, March 6 at the following times: Monday (March 2), Tuesday (March 3) and Thursday (March 5) from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day
- Wednesday (March 4) from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Friday, March 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- In addition, collection is possible on Saturday, February 28, from 10:00 to 14:00.

The completed postal voting documents must be received in the letterbox at the town hall by 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 8 at the latest. Electoral Office
The electoral office is set up temporarily around six months before general votes (referendums and plebiscites) and elections (local, district, state and European elections). Responsible for the overall implementation - e.g. electoral roll, polling stations, polling assistants, voter notification, postal voting and more.
