Experience Art in a Different Way

The new activity bag offered by the City Museum for the exhibition “Seen Anew—Adolf Schinnerer” promises a playful and sensory museum experience. The title says it all: small cards with various prompts invite visitors to view the artist’s works from different perspectives—for example, through a telescope. They also encourage poetic or mimetic interactions with what is depicted. Additionally, they ask which image best matches a particular scent. Visitors can choose the activities and how many to do themselves.

The activity kit is designed for children ages six and up accompanied by an adult, as well as for art-loving adults. It is available at the museum ticket office. The exhibition runs through February 14, 2027. For more information, visit www.stadtmuseum-erlangen.de.
