Project development

Project development is directly assigned to the Department of Planning and Building.

It manages and supports special urban development projects of particular importance to the city of Erlangen. Particularly in the early project phases, it structures and coordinates the targeted further development of projects across departments. In close cooperation with all stakeholders, it develops interdisciplinary concepts for future urban development projects.

As the central point of contact for external project developers, it acts as an interface between the administration's specialist departments and external partners. The aim is to pool relevant information and planning issues. The result is sustainable, jointly coordinated development concepts that form the basis for well-founded and targeted decisions.
