Arequest is made as to whether the wall of the Dechsendorf elementary school gym can be designed by graffiti artists in consultation with the relevant department.

Examination Department for Planning and Building:
There are plans to carry out concrete renovation work on the Dechsendorf elementary school gym this year. From the GME's point of view, the wall can then be released with the approval of the school management. The next step would be for the applicant to talk to the school management and make a proposal to realize a work of art there. The cultural office would then regulate the further procedure with the school and record it in a contract.
When drafting the contract, it should be noted that the outer shell is to be refurbished in the medium term; there is no schedule for this yet. The graffiti would then be covered up or demolished beforehand due to the expected application of external insulation. We rule out the possibility of preserving the artwork from GME's point of view.
