Schallershofer Straße

The drainage company is renewing a pressure pipe in Schallershofer Straße between house numbers 141 c to approx. 151. The existing pressure pipe is so far outdated that proper operation (leak test, visual inspections, cleaning) is no longer possible.

Special features: Section A will be carried out during the summer vacation with a full closure.

Scope:

• Approx. 145 m laying of a PE pressure pipe OD 125 using the cut-and-cover method
• Construction of an inspection chamber incl. fittings

The work is divided into two construction sections A + B. Section A is located between properties 141c to approx. 145/148. Section B covers the area of house numbers 145 to 151.

Due to school bus traffic, section A can only be carried out during the summer vacations (August 3 to September 14, 2026). The drainage company currently expects this section to take around two to three weeks to complete. During the execution of construction section B, section A will be completely reopened to traffic.

Section B will be carried out immediately before or after section A. The decision is up to the construction company carrying out the work. As soon as the drainage company has a binding construction schedule (approx. April/May 2026), another information letter will be sent to residents with the latest information in good time.

In principle, the above-mentioned residents (property nos. 141c to approx. 151) are primarily affected by the measure. The surrounding properties are only indirectly affected to a limited extent. Reason: access to Schallershofer Straße from the north is only possible up to house number 141c for the duration of section A. Access to Schallershofer Straße from the south is only possible up to house number 148 for the duration of section A. Access to all properties, including businesses, will remain possible at all times.

The drainage company and the contractor are making every effort to complete the project as smoothly, quickly and professionally as possible. The aim is to keep obstructions and restrictions to a minimum at all times. Unfortunately, due to the scope and complexity of the project, it is unavoidable that there may be temporary disruptions and selective restrictions at one point or another.
