Funding is available for buildings that are affected by noise from municipal roads and where a noise index LNight > 55 dB(A) has been mapped or where the property is located in one of the 19 noise hotspots of the City of Erlangen's Noise Action Plan 2020.
If the requirements of the 2021 Noise Protection Window Program funding guideline are met, a grant can be applied for for the installation of soundproofed windows and French doors. The maximum grant can be up to €5,000 per residential unit. The subsidy rate is 50%.
