Every year, numerous music enthusiasts gather in the summery ambience of the palace gardens to enjoy musical performances from a wide variety of genres. This year, the popular concert series will take place for the 48th time between May and August against the baroque backdrop of the Orangery. As in the 2025 season, there will be four concerts instead of the usual eight due to the continuing tight financial situation of the city of Erlangen. As always, admission is free.
The 2026 dates are:
- May 10 | The easiest is the hardest: New folk music by Ensemble Maxjoseph
- June 21 | Perambular - Fine Brazilian jazz: Yara Linss (vocals) & João Luís (guitar)
- July 19 | "I'm fed up with pink!": Suli Puschban and the band of good hope
- August 9 | Music for emperors and kings: Capella Antiqua Bambergensis - A musical journey into the Middle Ages

The main sponsor of the Erlangen Schlossgartenkonzerte has been Sparda-Bank Nürnberg since 2009. Cooperation partners of the concert series are the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and the E-Werk Kulturzentrum GmbH.
Note: In case of rain, the concerts take place in the neighboring Redoutensaal (Theaterplatz 1). Whether a concert has to be moved indoors will be announced on an information hotline on the respective concert Sunday from 9:00 am. Please note that there is only a limited number of seats available in the Redoutensaal. Admission is not possible after the start of the concert.
