Neighborhood and local advisory councils have been formed

The advisory boards represent their interests to the city administration. They may make recommendations and submit proposals on any issues affecting their respective city or district.
The seven district advisory councils and the seven local advisory councils in Erlangen met at City Hall for their respective constituent meetings to mark the start of the new term of office, which runs from 2026 to 2032. The chairs and vice chairs were also elected during these meetings. Mayor Jörg Volleth and Deputy Mayor Eva Linhart attended both meetings and thanked the new members for their willingness to serve in these volunteer roles.
In Dechsendorf, Dieter Zitzmann is the new chairperson, with Markus Rascher serving as vice chair. Götz Nowak and his vice chair, Heinz Betzelt, lead the council in Eltersdorf. Florian Schieder is the chairperson in Frauenaurach, with Stefan Nagel as his vice chair. In Hüttendorf, Ralf Ott was elected chair and Annette Greiten was elected vice chair. In Kriegenbrunn, Markus Zorg heads the committee and is represented by Peter Brieger. And in Tennenlohe, Herbert Lerche is chairman, with Rolf Schowalter and Michael Galster serving as his deputies. The constituent meeting for the Kosbach/Häusling/Steudach local advisory board will take place in a few days.
Among the district advisory boards, Marcus Fischer chairs the board in Atlerlangen; his two vice chairs are Lisa Feldmann and Sandy Weller. Markus Neher is the chair for Anger, with Kasimir Kicin serving as vice chair. In Bruck, Pia Jacobi takes the chair, with Ingrid Schoyerer as her vice chair. Günter Winkelmann serves as chair of the Büchenbach District Advisory Board; Stefan Schellhaus and Nicola Huck-Müller are his vice chairs. In the city center, Claudia Schorcht remains chair; Clemens Heydenreich and Herbert Winkler are vice chairs. In the East district, Martin Pfeifenberger serves as chair and Kai Stürmer as vice chair. And in the South District Advisory Board, Simeon Ulm was elected chair, with Rainer Hartmann and Christoph Bartschat serving as vice chairs.
The advisory councils represent their interests before the city administration. They may make recommendations and submit motions on any issues affecting their respective city districts or neighborhoods. The members of the advisory councils are appointed by the City Council based on nominations from the political parties and groups that comprise it. The allocation of seats is determined by the election results of the political parties and groups in the most recent City Council election held in the respective district or neighborhood.
