Statement on human rights violations in Iran

The members of the Erlangen Foreigners' and Integration Advisory Council are shocked and stunned by the violence against the population in Iran, especially after the recent events.

We condemn the targeted execution of young people and adults as well as the ongoing violence against the population. We strongly demand respect for the human dignity and human rights of the people of Iran. We call for an immediate end to the executions and the repression of protesters. We call on the German government to grant protection to persecuted and threatened people from Iran.
