Wedding hall in the town hall

• Unfortunately, it is not possible to view the rooms in advance for organizational reasons.
• Our wedding hall is accessible via the elevator on the first floor of the town hall foyer.
• Animals are not permitted.
• The hall offers seating for a maximum of 22 guests (20 people plus the wedding couple).

• There are no additional costs for a wedding ceremony at Erlangen Town Hall apart from the regular registration fees.

• There is a parking lot for the wedding car behind the town hall (access via Schuhstraße). Please drive to the barrier and register there. There is paid parking for your guests in the parking garages Schuhstraße and Sedanstraße.
• A time slot of 30 minutes is provided for the wedding ceremony.
• You are welcome to add music to your ceremony.
  • Please note that the music must be organized independently. A guest from the wedding party should also be responsible for playing the music.
  • The following are available for playing the music
    • Bluetooth speakers
    • Stereo system (however, this is not MP3-capable with audio cable, small jack)
      • You can either bring your own CD or use our CD selection on site.
    • Live music
• Photographs can be taken during the wedding ceremony. The use of these pictures is then only permitted for private use (e.g. photo album).
• Film and sound recordings during the wedding ceremony are only permitted with the consent of the registrar. Please contact us well in advance if a video recording is planned. These recordings are also only permitted for private use. The publication of image and sound recordings is only permitted with the consent of the person(s) depicted and recorded in accordance with Section 22 of the Art Copyright Act. In order to protect your personal rights, the staff of the Erlangen registry office will not grant you such consent. This means that the publication (on the internet and in other publicly accessible media, for example social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) of photographs of the above-mentioned group of people during the wedding ceremony and the associated procedures is not permitted.
• Following your wedding ceremony, you can toast your special day in the foyer on the 1st floor of the town hall, for which three bar tables are available. The champagne reception must be organized privately.
• Please also bear in mind that meeting wedding guests from other wedding couples may be unavoidable.
• All wedding couples would like to find clean and safe premises with their guests. Therefore, the scattering of flowers, confetti, rice and the like is unfortunately not permitted due to the risk of slipping and injury, but also for environmental reasons. This applies both in the town hall (including the wedding room) and on the entire town hall square. In the event of violations, you as the wedding couple are liable for any cleaning measures or damage that may occur. We therefore strongly recommend that you pass these instructions on to your guests, work colleagues and other well-wishers.

All year round on Thursdays from 09:00 to 13:30 and Fridays from 09:00 to 12:00. In addition, one special date per year is usually offered on a different day of the week.
