Disposal fund
Stand: 28.05.2024
Financial support for projects in Büchenbach-Nord
The disposition fund provides citizens, associations, institutions and businesses with financial resources for district-related projects. The aim is to support private commitment in the district and enhance the Büchenbach-Nord urban renewal area. The disposition fund is financed by urban development funding as part of the "Social Cohesion" program.
Smaller projects and measures for an attractive living environment as well as community activities in the Büchenbach-Nord neighborhood can be subsidized through the disposition fund. Eligibility for funding is based, among other things, on the objectives of the ISEK Büchenbach-Nord. The project must be located in one of the fields of action and be generally compatible with the objectives of the ISEK (see gallery for examples and framework points).
Do you have a project idea or already have a concrete project and would like to know whether you can use the funding? Please contact the Stadtteil-Werkstatt - we will be happy to help you with any questions you may have about the Verfügungsfonds and the application process!

Further information can be found in the Büchenbach-Nord Disposal Fund guidelines in the Downloads section (at the bottom of this page). There you can also download a map of the funding area (area of application) and the application form.
You start with your project idea. With this idea or your (finished) concept, you contact the Stadtteil-Werkstatt. The Stadtteil-Werkstatt will advise you on how to proceed and support you in applying for funding. The project application will be submitted to the Stadtteil-Werkstatt (see above for contact details), checked and you will soon be informed whether your application has been approved. If your application is rejected, the project can be further developed so that funding is still possible. Please seek advice on this from the Stadtteil-Werkstatt. Once your application has been approved, the implementation of your project can begin. Once the project has been successfully completed, the final cost statement will be issued and the funding will then be paid out.
Depending on the amount of funding applied for, either the district workshop (for small amounts) or the district workshop together with the city of Erlangen decides. For funding amounts of 1,500 euros or more, the project advisory board votes on approval. The project advisory board is a local committee that was set up specifically for the disposition fund. It consists of residents of Büchenbach North and people involved in Büchenbach North.
Non-profit, non-commercial, time-limited projects are eligible for funding. The project must be implemented in Büchenbach-Nord (see gallery for funding area). At least one contact person is responsible for the project. The application for funding from the Verfügungsfonds must be submitted to the Stadtteil-Werkstatt at least one month before the start of the project. The maximum amount of funding per project is usually 5,000 euros.
The project should make a positive contribution to the objectives of the ISEK Büchenbach-Nord and be assigned to at least one of the following fields of action:
- Housing, building and local supply in and for neighborhoods
- Learning, education, exchange and advice
- Climate protection and mobility: Networked, social and sustainable
- Open space network for play, sport, health and local recreation
- Communication, networks and participation
Funding is support in the form of money, which must be used appropriately and economically.
Funding is provided for material costs and only expenses and remuneration actually incurred (e.g. fees) are reimbursed. Costs can therefore only be reimbursed after the project has been completed.
In the download area you will find an application form for funding from the disposition fund.
The written application for funding must be submitted and approved at least one month before the planned start of the project, as funding cannot be granted retrospectively.
You will receive advice and support from the district workshop. The details required for the final application can also develop during the consultation. Please contact the Stadtteil-Werkstatt with an initial project idea and we will be happy to advise you right from the start.
