In spring/summer 2025, the Erlangen Adult Education Center will be exploring the topic of youth in all its facets: from a series of lectures on the "myth of youth" in art history to numerous health and nutrition courses that keep you fit and young for a long time. The semester starts on Monday, February 24. This time, the vhs has 27 languages on offer - including Korean, Persian and Romanian as well as German as a foreign language and German sign language.

Enrolment started on January 22. The spring/summer program booklets with around 1,200 events and courses are available at the usual locations. All courses are also available online at www.vhs-erlangen.de.

Insight into the program

Workshops on creating Instagram reels and podcasts are new. From foot reflexology for babies and a creative afternoon for young families during the Easter period to a newly designed rollator training course, there is something for all age groups.

This year's Studium Generale will focus on society in transition. For example, representatives of the Erlangen Youth Parliament and a darknet expert will have their say.

In the vhs club INTERNATIONAL, groups from numerous countries will once again meet for good discussions. A special kind of swap meet awaits all German learners who want to share books, decorative items and small treasures and improve their vocabulary knowledge in a sociable atmosphere. Job seekers can learn how to optimize their application process and master job interviews confidently and successfully. Registration is required for all vhs events, including the free events.
