Video: Election of the Advisory Board on Foreign Residents and Integration

The AIB is an elected body made up of people with a migration background. Since 1974, it has helped shape policy in Erlangen. About 40% of Erlangen’s residents have a migration background. The AIB gives them a voice. It also advises the city council and the administration, proposes solutions, and helps shape cultural diversity.

This year, for the first time, the election for the Advisory Board on Foreigners and Integration (AIB) will take place exclusively through online voting. Anyone who has received a voting notice may participate in the election. The AIB election will take place from July 6 to 27, 2026.
