Interpretation of the amendment to the Landscape Conservation Ordinance

Announcement

At its meeting on 26.09.2024, the Erlangen City Council instructed the administration to initiate the procedure for amending the landscape protection ordinance in order to enable development plan no. 467 for university extension buildings.

It is intended to amend the ordinance for the protection of landscape areas in the area of the city of Erlangen (landscape protection ordinance) in accordance with Section 26 BNatSchG, Art. 51 Para. 1 No. 2 and Art. 52 BayNatSchG, to remove a section of the "Brucker Lache" from the landscape protection ordinance for development plan no. 467 of the city of Erlangen.

The "Brucker Lache" landscape conservation area (currently 322 hectares) will be reduced by 1.47% as a result of the removal of the forest strip between Nikolaus-Fiebiger-Straße and Kurt-Schuhmacher-Straße; in relation to all landscape conservation areas in the city, the reduction is 0.13%.

The draft of the amendment ordinance on the landscape protection area and the associated map of the protected area on a scale of M1 : 10,000, from which the boundaries of the landscape protection areas are derived, are available for general inspection at the City of Erlangen during normal office hours from Monday, November 4, 2024 to Friday, December 6, 2024 inclusive and published on the website of the City of Erlangen, Environmental Agency under the heading Announcements at https://erlangen.de/themenseite/aktuelles/amtliche-bekanntmachungen.

Comments can be submitted during the publication period. These should be sent electronically to the e-mail address naturschutz@stadt.erlangen.de. If required, comments can also be submitted by other means. Comments not submitted by the deadline may be disregarded when the resolution on the landscape conservation ordinance is passed.
