Living for help
Stand: 28.05.2024
The Housing for Help project provides unused living space at low cost in exchange for help with everyday living.
Sharing living space - receiving help
Unused living space is made available at low cost in return for help with everyday living.
As a housing provider:
Anyone who lives within a reasonable distance of Erlangen city center (reachable in approx. 30 minutes by public transport) and has at least one room available for single use.
As a tenant:
Students or people in training who urgently need a room and would prefer to provide practical help instead of paying rent.
Rule of thumb:
1 m² of living space = 1 hour of help per month (additional costs such as heating, water, electricity must be paid)
For example, housework or gardening, providing company, animal care, childcare.
Note: Nursing or medical services are excluded!
