Construction work at the Erlangen Vocational Education Campus (CBBE) is ensuring a future-oriented learning environment for the trade-based apprenticeship programs at the Erlangen Vocational School. A new workshop wing and a cafeteria are being built here for all schools on the Erlangen Vocational Education Campus (CBBE). The classroom and administrative wing is being renovated.

The current workshop wing of the CBBE is being replaced by a new building adjacent to the vocational school’s administrative and classroom wing. The four-story commercial wing and the connecting structure were demolished and are being replaced by a new building with integrated specialized classrooms. At the same time, a cafeteria with a preparation kitchen is being built for all schools on campus. As a final step, the classroom and administrative wings will be renovated, and the outdoor facilities will be completed.
- Start of construction for “preparatory construction measures”: completed in the second half of 2020
- Construction Phase 1 – New Building Section F occupied in September 2023; Sections E and B (old) demolished
- Construction Phase 2 – New construction of Buildings B and E with cafeteria: Began in April 2024; occupancy planned by September 2027
- Construction Phase 3 – Renovation of classroom and administrative wings: Planned to follow Construction Phase 2, starting in late 2027
- Outdoor facilities and completion of construction: Planned for summer 2029
