The federal-state-municipal urban development program “Social Cohesion” aims to secure and further develop the potential of Büchenbach-Nord as a neighborhood with a high quality of life and strong capacity for integration through joint, interagency action.

Under the guiding principle “Büchenbach-Nord—At Home in a Great Neighborhood,” goals and measures have been identified that are to be implemented over the next 10 to 15 years.
Key projects include:
- “New Center” for Büchenbach-Nord (Phase: 2025/2026—development of a framework and structural concept)
- Development of the Büchenbach-Nord School Site (Phase: 2024—educational and spatial utilization concept to be developed; urban planning and architectural design competition to take place as soon as the budget allows)
- Integrated Neighborhood Development (Phase: Gewobau construction project and zoning plan are on hold)
- 56nord Neighborhood Workshop / Neighborhood Management (established and ongoing)

Federal-State-Municipal Urban Development Assistance Program
Ongoing involvement through the 56nord Neighborhood Workshop and the permanent neighborhood management initiative in Büchenbach-Nord:
- Contact point and meeting place for issues related to urban renewal in the 56nord area, Büchenbacher Anlage 27a
- Weekly office hours and café in the 56nord area
- Mobile neighborhood outreach
- Annual public neighborhood forum
- Project- and initiative-related events and activities as part of the implementation of the ISEK Büchenbach-Nord
