A new, vibrant neighborhood is taking shape in the south of Erlangen on the former Siemens research campus. The site will feature office buildings, residential space, spacious green areas and open spaces, as well as restaurants, shops, and service providers.

Construction: Large portions of the Siemens commercial campus have already been built and occupied. Adjacent to it to the south, the Siemens Stadtquartier Süd will be developed in the coming years. In a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood, approximately 2,000 new residential units are to be built alongside commercial spaces and social infrastructure. The design competition for the urban development concept has already been completed, and the zoning plan process to secure building permits has been initiated.
