Waste concept for events - Application
Legal requirements
At all events on public streets, paths and squares, as well as in city facilities, food and drinks may only be served in reusable packaging and containers and only with reusable cutlery.
Scope of application
- Events on public property
- Sales areas in municipal property
- Street catering
- Municipal offices, municipal events
- Schools, etc.
Please note:
The decisive factor is the characteristic "reusable". This is NOT the same as the term "recyclable".
Permitted are:
- Reusable cups and mugs
- Reusable bottles
- Reusable plates
- Reusable cutlery
- Paper bags (e.g. for chips and kebabs)
- Baking paper
- Edible wafers (only for ice cream)
- Napkins
- Small cutlery (up to 10 cm) (e.g. chip skewers, ice cream spoons)
- Wooden skewers
Not are not permitted:
- Disposable cups
- Disposable bottles, including glass bottles
- Disposable deposit bottles
- Liquor bottles
- Beverage cans
- Beverage cartons
- Foil bag packaging (e.g. fruit drinks)
- Disposable plates made from
- conventional plastic
- Bioplastics (PLA, corn starch, etc.)
- Sugar cane, palm leaves, bamboo
- Aluminum
- cardboard
- Disposable cutlery (e.g. wooden cutlery)
