Discover Büchenbach-Nord! We have created a digital city rally for you. It takes you through the Büchenbach area and shows you how it has changed and perhaps will change. But beware: to get from place to place you have to solve puzzles. Actionbound is free and can be played at any time.
Do you know your way around Büchenbach-Nord? Or you don't know much yet? No matter, the actionbound "Off through the 'Neue Mitte'!" is for everyone who wants to go on a journey of discovery through their district. We, the district workshop 56nord and the AWO district project, have created a digital city rally for you. It will guide you through the Büchenbacher Anlage and show you what has changed there and what might change in the future. But be careful: you have to solve puzzles to get from place to place. Don't worry, we'll give you a hint if you can't answer the questions straight away. Actionbound is free and can be played at any time, all you need is a smartphone or tablet.

A Bound is a tour or route where you solve puzzles to get new information and find the next location. Our Bound is called 'Ab durch die Neue Mitte'.
Actionbound is the name of the app you need for this. You can download it free of charge.
Whether alone, with friends or with the whole family, a walk with Actionbound is suitable for everyone. Now it's up to you: grab your cell phone, download the free Actionbound app, scan the QR code shown or enter the name of the Bound in the search field and let the puzzle fun begin. Have fun discovering!
Tip: If you have a poor internet connection when you're out and about, you can download and start the Bound 'Ab durch die Neue Mitte' at home. As soon as you are at the Büchenbach facility (starting point), you can continue the tour. Your smartphone will then show you the way.

Whether young or old - the Bound is for everyone who is interested in Büchenbach-Nord. Set off on your own, or take friends or family with you. If you play with several people and use two smartphones, you can see who has collected more points in the puzzles at the end.
Actionbound app: To play a Bound, you need the Actionbound app for your mobile device. The Actionbound app is available free of charge for iOS and Android. The current app version is supported from iOS 14 and Android 10.
Internet: You need an internet connection to play. If you do not have sufficient mobile data, preload the Bound at home before starting the game. At the beginning, the contents of the Bound, such as questions, tasks and pictures, must be downloaded to the mobile device. You also need an internet connection to upload the results at the end of the Bound. To do this, tap on "Download Bound" on the Bound start page. We have created a step-by-step guide for you below.
Actionbound app permissions: Permissions are only used for the functionality of these elements. The app does not access them beyond this. Please enable the camera (scan start code, scan QR code, take picture) and the location (find places).
Time: Our Bound takes about one hour. However, you don't have to complete the scavenger hunt in one go. You can simply pause the rally in between and continue at a later time. After the interruption, the app must be restarted. The tour can then be continued automatically at the last point. By the way, it doesn't matter how long you need for the tour.
Don't forget to charge your smartphone beforehand and dress appropriately for the weather!
We call the area around the Büchenbacher Anlage the 'new center'. A lot is set to change there over the next few years: There are plans for new buildings, new facilities and restaurants. In the Bound, we explain exactly what is planned. During the game, you will also have the opportunity to tell us what you think. But we won't be revealing any more just yet - you'll find out on site!
