Active Card and app

With a letter from Lord Mayor Florian Janik, the Mayor's and Press Office of the City of Erlangen once again sent out Active Cards to volunteer groups, clubs and organizations in December. "Your work is an indispensable part of an open and supportive community. Your voluntary work creates important connections. The willingness, perseverance and time that you contribute to our city society in Erlangen cannot be taken for granted," reads the letter from the head of the city.

Numerous benefits

In the coming year, the card will once again offer discounts at various facilities. For example, there are discounts

• for performances at the Markgrafentheater
• on the annual fee for the city library or

on admission to the Erlangen swimming pools.

Basic information about the Active Card

Since 2022, the Aktiv-Card has also been available as a digital version (app). It can simply be shown on a smartphone. This should make it even easier to access the Aktiv-Card discounts.

The Active Card app complements the paper version of the Active Card, which will continue to be sent to clubs every year. Associations that volunteer for Erlangen can obtain an Aktiv-Card from the Office for Citizen Participation and Volunteering. The Active Card has now been extended to the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt.

Are there any other requirements to be able to use an Active Card?

As an association, you must be based in Erlangen and your work must be carried out by committed volunteers. If all of this applies, please contact us by email(ehrenamtskarte@stadt.erlangen.de). If you would like to use the Aktiv-Card app and the Aktiv-Card is already available for discounts in your organization, you can ask us whether the limited licenses for the app have already been allocated for this year.

Advantages of the Active Card

• City library: reduced annual fee (10 euros)
• vhs: 10% on all courses and events (excluding study trips, excursions, material costs, expenses and courses marked "no discount possible" in the program)
• schauspiel erlangen:5.00 euros discount on all performances at the Markgrafen- und Garagentheater (with the exception of rentals and New Year's Eve performances)
• City Museum: reduced admission (3.50 euros)
• Kunstpalais: reduced admission (3.00 euros)
• 22nd International Comic Salon and 46th Poet*innenfest: reduced admission
• ASB : 50% discount on first aid course
• gVe: 5.00 euros discount on concerts
• Erlangen swimming pools: 1.50 euros discount on admission price

The Aktiv-Card entitles the holder to single admission only. Reproduction is prohibited. No discount at EN advance booking offices.
