The card will once again offer discounts at various venues in 2026. For example, there are discounts

• for performances at the Markgrafentheater
• on the annual fee for the city library, or

on admission to the Erlangen public pools.

General Information About the Aktiv-Card

Since 2022, the Aktiv-Card has also been available as a digital version (app). This makes it easy to show the card on a smartphone. The goal is to make accessing the Aktiv-Card’s discounts even easier.

The Aktiv-Card app complements the paper version of the Aktiv-Card, which will continue to be issued and mailed to organizations annually. Organizations that volunteer for the benefit of Erlangen can obtain an Aktiv-Card through the Office for Citizen Participation and Volunteer Work. The Aktiv-Card program has now been expanded to include the Erlangen-Höchstadt district.

Are there any other requirements for using an Aktiv-Card?

Your organization must be based in Erlangen, and its work must be carried out by dedicated volunteers. If all of these conditions apply, please feel free to contact us by email (ehrenamtskarte@stadt.erlangen.de). If you’d like to use the Aktiv-Card app and your organization already offers the Aktiv-Card for discounts, you can check with us to see if the limited number of app licenses for this year have already been allocated.

Benefits of the Aktiv-Card

• City Library: reduced annual fee (10 euros)
• vhs: 10% off all courses and events (excluding study trips, field trips, material costs, out-of-pocket expenses, and courses marked in the program as “no discount available”)
• Schauspiel Erlangen:5.00 euros discount on all performances at the Markgrafen- and Garagentheater (excluding venue rentals and New Year’s Eve performances)
• City Museum: Reduced admission (3.50 euros)
• Kunstpalais: Reduced admission (3.00 euros)
• 22nd International Comic Salon and 46th Poets’ Festival: Reduced admission
• ASB: 50% discount on first-aid courses
• gVe: 5 .00 euro discount on concerts
• Erlangen Public Pools: 1.50 euro discount on admission

The Aktiv-Card is valid for single-entry admission only. Duplication is prohibited. No discounts are available at EN ticket outlets.
