Exhibition: "Outstanding Seniors in Erlangen"
Stand: 06.08.2026
On display are their life stories, experiences, and their vision for the future. The exhibition runs through September 29.
More and more people in Erlangen are reaching a remarkably advanced age. Some are already over 90, and a few are even over 100 years old. To mark the 50th anniversary of the Senior Citizens’ Advisory Council, some of its members set out to find these extraordinary individuals.
In an exhibition, they showcase seniors whose life stories, experiences, and outlook on the future are truly inspiring. The exhibition shows that even at a very advanced age, people remain an active, valuable part of our society—with a wealth of experience and an openness to what lies ahead. The exhibition is on view through September 29 on the first floor of the ISAR 12 Community Center (Isarstraße 12).
